This year's Bright Nights Community Forum Series was held at the Berman Center for Performing Arts on Monday, March 18th. The event is hosted by the U of M Depression Center, in collaboration with Kadima.
The event included a presentation by Kevin Sethi, M.D. House Officer, UMDC, Dept. of Psychiatry, followed by a panel discussion where the experts answered audience questions. Panelists included representatives from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), Kadima and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). This "talk back" panel offered personal narratives of successful appraoches for depression management.
