Many Kadima trainings, events and conferences are held each year that offer education about mental health issues, as well as informative and inspirational programming.

Kadima provides safeTALK, a three-hour workshop that alerts one to warning signs indicating risk of suicide. Attend the half-day seminar and learn to:

  • Identify people who may have thoughts of suicide,
  • Ask them directly about the possibility of suicide, then
  • Connect them to life-saving resources

safeTALK is open to anyone 15 or older, regardless of prior experience. Both professionals and members of the general public can benefit from safeTALK.

Since its development in 2006, safeTALK has been used in over 20 countries around the world, and more than 200 selectable video vignettes have been produced to tailor the program’s audio-visual component for diverse audiences. safeTALK-trained helpers are an important part of suicide-safer communities, working alongside intervention resources to identify and avert suicide risks.
